This 1.5 day training provides staff with all of the basic skills and protocols to deliver RMCS with youth, young adults, or adults who have completed some form of substance use treatment. Attendees can expect to learn the following:

 

  • Importance of assertive and sustained support to recovery

  • Purpose of RMCS

  • Expectation of Recovery Support Workers

  • Overview of RMCS schedule, delivery, and preparation

  • RMCS Types of Sessions & Session Content

  • Strategies to Complete Sessions

  • Home Visit Safety

  • How to use the online Session Tracker tool

 

Participants must attend both days in their entirety to be fully trained:

 

Day 1:  9:30am - 4:00pm

 

Day 2:  9:30am - 1:00pm
